I’ve introduced some new terms over the past few days and with another being added today - Guru Sceptics - I thought I should provide a short glossary so we are all clear:
Guru Fodder - The collective name for the people caught out by the over-hype & bad tactics used by some ... Continue reading »

I do not know how in good conciousness they can claim these exhorbited profits in 24 hours!! It can only lead to more regulation of the internet by government at some point, it may weed out the scammers. Good site Mark and great content.
Teri
Hi Teri, Good to see you here and thanks for your support. If some of these claims were made in TV, Radio or Magazine ads the businesses would be closed down already! It seems for some reason if it's on the internet anything goes. I agree there probably will be regulation at some point but in the meantime the Guru Fodder is getting burnt! The Anti Hype

What I find disappointing is some of the people who have joined the gravy train
keep up this great blog
Thanks for your support Suzie. I know just what you mean about "joining the gravy train" - it includes people I previously held in high regard. Fear & greed make people behave in "unusual" ways I'm afraid. Mark

I like your definitions but I am confused as to what category I would fall in.
I do buy almost everything out there but I only do it with profits from my own sales. If I like it I do recommend it.
I am a sceptic (or Skeptic on this side of the pond) but I usually purchase so that I can actually see the product and make up my own mind.
Does this make me Sceptic Fodder?
Randy The Hermit
Hi Randy, thanks for stopping by. The category is dependent upon whether you wittingly purchase or get taken in by the hype. You know what you are doing and why. I'll create a new category for you!! It is also perfectly acceptable, even for TheAntiHype to recommend a product that is hyped up, as long as it lives up to that hype. It's the "buy today - retire tomorrow without doing a thing" stance that I'm so against - I'm sorry to inform everyone that won't work! TheAntiHype
