- Hi Leslie, those Monty Python guys were before their time!!
- Hilarious video, great info.....
- Thanks for your informations.I'm thinking that you have a real new idea to work with. The idea you suggested to use Scribd, might be great for newbie like me.
- I think there's a "general" burying of heads in sand about many things with a "it doesn't apply or won't happen to me" attitude. I think you're right. Someone...
- Interesting post Mark. I wasn't aware of the existence of this document, but when the practices don't ring right, well there's usually some legislation somewhere. Interestingly even...

As for your actual point. Yes, there is a fine line there between making good use of a list and abusing the trust of those who signed up.

Me neither!! The saturation is such a turn off for me I'm probably missing out on the greatest product ever - sorry, I remember from last time, greatest expensive product ever! Thanks for your thoughts Mark

Of course they thought they had a yellow brick road, but then realise they cannot walk it in one day.
However you only realise this of course when you start out on the journey, and when you've been left behind in something else, you are unwilling to start on the road until you feel better prepared.
I'm not ready nor have I the time to spend hundreds of dollars on Stompernet, but like you I don't want it shoved down my throat every few minutes. It's my own fault of course. Subscriptionitis and the dreaded JV epidemic (the affiliate promoters who swap lists).

The issue as I see it is that the product provider gets tainted by some of the people trying to sell the product. That must be damaging in the long run. In particular, as you point out, if you buy into something expecting utopia only to find another massive learning curve who really wins? Great points you raise, thanks. Mark

I'm sure Stompernet itself is a great product. Well produced videos, nice looking site BUT very high price and not for everyone. The problem is the number of people pushing it! I now have another product being forced on me by every man and his dog. Russell Brunson has a new product. I'm sick of it already and haven't even looked at his site!! This new launch frenzy is a 100% turn off for me. Mark

The JV of these so called top 5 guru's gives you the same product with their own " bonus" added.
Hype is all it is, and they all do it while patting each other on the back. By the time you buy a "new" repackaged old idea, you have to have another product (send more money) join a monthly forum, get in on the telephone calls where you can't ask questions, and like Homer are no further ahead.
Yet still with this economy the guru's bank that there are sufficient vulnerable "suckers" out there that have yet ventured into this money funnel.
PS. I have stomped on all the emails - by unsubscribing from all the lists and concentrate on my own business - not financing theirs.
WARNING: if any of your readers download a
"free" program, from these guru's I will not mention any names - do not do it. They are insidious and you cannot remove portions of the programs which turn out to be useless.
Great post Mark.

It they think this product is so great, they should go ahead and buy it, they can afford it. But leave me alone already.

I'm amazed that I got pitches from [people I'd never heard of! Must have subscribed for something at some time and now, with no idea who I am, they "know" I need this product. These guys are in danger of alienating their whole lists. At least it's a nice thought but I guess people will buy through them and they'll never know hoow we feel. Thanks for your comment Diana. wonder who made the affiliate money?
i am going to change emails to gmail and feed them all into spam
seems email blasting is still the order of the day
Me too. I've had a habit over the past week of unsubscribing from everything!! Like you, some affiliate marketers have picked up commission from me yet I have no idea who they were and they've added nothing to my life - apart from using up hard drive!! Mark

it is so appropriate for the guru's out there.
I just checked an email address I do not use very often and there was 18 emails from the same guru, he was spamming me 3 x a day?
They are getting desperate aren't they?
An article on Guru desperation during hard economic times? perhaps.
